Any drink invented in Alaska is necessarily somewhat manly. However, any drink containing Kahlua and/or Baileys is somewhat wussified. It all evens out, though, with the addition of a little Canadian whisky, that most humble of manly spirits. This is apparently a great libation after a long day of ice fishing or moose hunting, but even if you’re further south than the 49th parallel, it’s a great cold-weather drink that will appeal to your girlfriend and her friends, too.

Total Time: 5 min
Prep: 5 min
Yield:1 serving

1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream
1/2 ounce Crown Royal or other Canadian whiskey

Pour the Kahlua in to a shot glass (or rocks glass, in which case double the amount for all ingredients). Slowly pour the Baileys over the rounded side of a spoon in on top of the Kahlua, taking your time not to muddle them. Do the same with the whisky.
